Biography
Mr. Brady directs the Assured Communications Systems (ACS) business unit, a leader in secure software defined radio systems, whose products include the Digital Modular Radio (DMR), installed in numerous maritime and fixed sites; the JTRS Handheld, Manpack, Small form-fit program (JTRS HMS); the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Common Air Interface; the HOOK2TM  Combat Search and Rescue System; high performance air traffic control radios; versatile legacy manpack radios; and a variety of advanced R&D/classified programs.

Previously at Motorola, he was responsible for the development and successful deployment of the IRIDIUMÒ System gateways, which control calls, data communications, user messages and geolocation while maintaining constant contact with satellites in low earth orbit. In this role he committed to and delivered on >$200M of development milestones. The Gateways deployed around the world have continued to perform above their specified availability.

Mr. Brady came to Arizona from AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he was a technical manager responsible for harnessing emerging technologies for AT&T’s network services.  Previously he was an engineer and architect for intelligent network services in the AT&T network.

In addition to his current experience with tactical radios and security, he has working experience with Video/DSL, cellular, LMDS, MMDS, laser communications, satellite communications and network management technologies.

A native of New York City, he holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona, an MS in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, and an MBA from Arizona State University.
