ElementCXITBDElementCXI has a novel IC architecture (Elemental Computing Array - ECA) that delivers super-computer performance on battery power at consumer price points and effectively eliminates the drawbacks of FPGAs and other traditional solutions. The ECA is composed of heterogeneous Elements (think Legos) that dynamically form specific computing structures on demand, simultaneously and in parallel, on each clock cycle. By constantly configuring to match system and application demands, the ECA is inherently low power/high performance while spanning broad application spaces. The ECA is resilient, meaning, if any transistor or wire becomes defective, the ECA continues operation - without redundancy, excessive software complexity or application performance penalties. As mainstream ICs cross into 65nm these advantages become even more pronounced.
