The SDR Forum announced today it is accepting presentation proposals for its 2nd annual European Reconfigurable Radio Technologies Workshop and Product Exposition, to be held in Mainz, Germany 23-25 June, 2010(http://sdrforum.org/2010EuropeWorkshop/).
Last year’s event, held in Madrid, Spain, brought together wireless telecommunications equipment manufacturers (TEMs) with their customers and suppliers to explore the evolution of reconfigurable radio over the next several years.
“This conference brings together a variety of stakeholders, from SDR’s historical constituencies such as the defense and civil communications markets, to new commercial markets including network infrastructure, mobile handsets, and more.” says program chair Thierry Dubois of IMEC. “Such a diverse audience creates a unique opportunity to learn from each other, discuss different points of view and ultimately join together to bring SDR and CR into the mainstream. If you are in an industry where SDR is just emerging, you should be at this conference, not only to discover the coming opportunities but also to collaborate with those already immersed in this exciting technology.”
